Fall means pumpkins, cozy evenings by the fire, and warm cups of Pumpkin Spice latte. At AMIGA HQ, we love fall and decided to come up with some fun and creative uses for pumpkins. Grab your pumpkins and get carving so that you can get down to a little bit of pampering, decorating, and pumpkin deliciousness.
You'll be pumpkin pretty with this face mask. Pumpkin's rich vitamins, beta-carotene, and antioxidants are great for your skin! Whisk about 1/4 cup of pumpkin (can be from a can) and one egg. For dry skin, add a few teaspoons of honey, it seals in moisture and helps prevent breakouts due to its antibacterial properties. For oily skin, add a splash of apple cider or cranberry juice; they act as an astringent. Apply for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse to reveal a firmer and smoother complexion.
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
The perfect snack! Toss 1 1/2 cups of raw pumpkin seeds, 2 teaspoons of melted butter, and a pinch of salt into a bowl. Spread the seed mixture on a single layer baking sheet and bake at 300 for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pretty Pumpkin Votive Holder
Make a decorative statement by creating mini pumpkin candle holders! Simply cut a 1-inch wide circle into each pumpkin, scoop out the center with a tablespoon, and insert a votive candle.
